How Round Cuts Wear and What We Source?
Round is the most practical shape for daily wear, with no pointed tips to chip, no corners to catch, and a symmetrical profile that sits securely in any prong configuration. One fact worth knowing before you decide on a carat: round has the smallest face-up area per carat of any shape in the brilliant family. A 1.5ct round and a 1.5ct oval weigh the same, but the oval appears visibly larger face-up because its elongated outline covers more finger surface.
If face-up size is a priority and budget is fixed, an oval or cushion at the same carat will read larger. That is the honest tradeoff round buyers should factor in.
